National French Contest Results 2013

The following Rolling Meadows High School students have earned national ranks and honorable mentions in the 80th annual event, according to Lisa Narug, National Director of Le Grand Concours. Le Grand Concours is a national competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. Students were evaluated for their written, oral and listening comprehension skills in French. Two RMHS Students Selected to Participate in the HIP Program through Northrop Gruman

Earlier this semester current Rolling Meadows freshmen and sophomores interested in engineering, among other requirements, were invited to apply to participate in the HIP Program (High School Involvement Partnership) sponsored by Northrop Grumman. Summer Success Academy for Incoming Freshmen

RMHS is offering an academic workshop for incoming freshman this summer. Students may attend one of three sessions and the cost is $20. The workshop is four hours long and topics covered include: organization, notetaking, RMHS technology, block scheduling, and school resources. RMHS Journalism Students Take 6th Place in the State Sectionals

The following student journalists were among the top six in the Sectional Journalism tournament held Saturday at Northern Illinois University. The top three finishers in each category are state finalists and will compete Friday in the state finals at Eastern Illinois University.
