"Thanks to all in my family, my colleagues and administrators in District #214 and others who have influenced my life. To all the students I've ever known, thanks for all the energy you gave me.

If you can spare the time, please come back and visit your teachers or send us a note to allow us into your futures. We gave you so much more than just subject matter. We gave you some of our hearts - you don't have a clue how interested we are in your lives. And we hope that you have been able to take away from us at least one idea to keep you company for a lifetime.
