Social Science Expectations

Lerning Environment

  • Respectuful of all individuals and their ideas.
  • Free exchange of thoughts and dialogue.
  • No insults or demanding othere.
  • Raise your hand to speak.
  • No interrupting others when they speak.

Attendance/Tardy

  • Expectation is that you are in vlass on time everyday.
  • You need to be in the room when the bell rings.
  • If you are absent you have until next class period to turn in the missing work.
  • You will be requieres to get a admit to class if you show up in the compuetr as an unexcused.
  • Late work will be accepted at reduced credit.

Consequences for not fufilling expectations

  1. Warning.
  2. Loss of stamp (Daily Stamp).
  3. Individual dialogue with the teacher.
  4. Lunch Detention.
  5. Referral to Dean/Division Head.

Grading Scale

  • A-100-90%
  • B- 89-80%
  • C- 79-70%
  • D- 69-60%
  • Inadequate- 59% and Below
