| Chapter 1 Stampsheet/Calendar | Chapter 8 Stampsheet/Calendar | The Geometry Team Practices most Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00-3:30 in C215. Any Sophomore or Freshman is welcome to join. Participation in practice is required to participate in meets. Atheletes are encouraged to participate in academic activities as well and coaches are willing to compromise a little time at the beginning of practice. ILML (Illinois Math League) is a contest run throughout the state of Illinois with hundreds of high schools participating. These 6-question challenge-contests give students the opportunity to shine. Contests are open to the student body, and teachers will give extra credit for performance on the tests. Since these contests are all-school events, students are to be excused from athletic and other extracurricular practices without consequence as per school and district policy. Students must return to practice with a signed pass from the event and are expected to be there in a timely manner. Conflicts with athletic and extracurricular games and performances must be cleared with a coach or sponsor and Ms. Kyte in advance. |
