On Sunday, September 28th, 2003 the Marching Mustangs from Rolling Meadows High School traveled to Chicago, Illinois to participate in the St. Rita Mustang Stampede Marching Competition. This was the RMHS Band's first competition of the season. In Class AA, the RMHS ensemble took 1st place for Best Drum Line, 2nd place for Best Color Guard, 1st place for Best Drum Majors, and 2nd place overall.
