Choral Boosters Overview
The Choral Boosters is an organization of parents, faculty, and friends whose purpose is to support the choral music program at the high school.
We strongly encourage all parents to be involved in the Choral Boosters. Although we understand that everyone is busy, we only ask for your time one Thursday a month, and a few hours here and there when help is needed for fundraisers. The more people we have working together, the better this program will be.
We meet once a month (second Thursday) throughout the school year in the commons to organize activities that support the choirs. The activities include chaperoning trips, providing financial assistance for choral department purchases, student scholarships for activities related to choir, and for helping to sponsor various fundraisers where students raise money to finance their music camps and trips. The membership fee for a family to join the Choral Boosters is $15.00 for the year.
We periodically publish a newsletter that is sent to all members. It is a great way to stay up to date with what is going on in class without having to search for information.

Money generated by Choral Boosters benefits all choirs in the program at RMHS
- Scholarships for summer music camps, show choir fees, and voice lessons.
- Donations are made to Spring Musical and Post Prom.
- Subsidize choir summer camp
- Purchase JV and Varsity letters.
- Purchase Senior Awards and gifts.
- Purchase and repair attire and costumes.
- Working towards purchase of garment bags for each choral student
- Providing hospitality after concerts.
- Purchase and repair of equipment in theater.

Entertainment Book Sale
This sale goes on in the very beginning of the school year. Each book costs $20, and $10 is profit for each book. Upon the sale of the fifth book, the student gets a book for free, and can sell that book for $20 profit to go into their student account.
Cheesecake Sale
Place your
holiday orders through any Band or Orchestra student (or Mr.
Buti or Mr. Hastings). The sale is sponsored by the the
RMHS Music Boosters and the cheesecakes come from Gourmets'
Delights. Each sale results in a $5 deposit in the Student Account.
Flavors include: Traditional, Chocolate Chip, Mint
Chocolate Chip, and Double Chocolate Chip for $16. Also, we
have: Chocolate Marble, Pineapple Coconut Creme, Key Lime,
Blueberry, Pumpkin, Amaretto, Pecan Caramel, Mocha Latte,
Turtle, Raspberry Fudge, Cookies and Creme, and a Variety
pack for $19.
Fisherman's Flee Market
An annual flee market is held each spring in conjunction with the Chicagoland Muskie Hunters. Vendors from the Midwest participate in the show selling various fishing items at RMHS. There are raffles and also speakers. Volunteers are needed for two-hour shifts in a number of areas.
Concert Flower Sales
During various choral performances throughout the year, Choral Boosters offers flowers for sale.
