Retired Lt. Col. Donald Bohac, a member of Rolling Meadows first graduating class of 1973, is a first officer with United Airlines. His distinguished career in aviation and the military began in high school with an interest in math, science, and flying. In 1977, Bohac was named a Distinguished Graduate of the USAF Academy and earned a bachelors degree in physics. His illustrious tour of duty in the Air Force spanned 20 years with many outstanding achievements along the way. He was a Distinguished Graduate of the Weapons Instructor course and named top instructor pilot for the German Air Forces "Top Gun" school. He later was sent to Saudi Arabia to deploy the F-15E in Operation Desert Storm, briefing General Schwarzkopf on Air Force capabilities. Bohac has garnered many awards and citations including the Meritorious Service Medal As an active community member, Bohac has volunteered as a soccer, basketball, baseball, and wrestling coach; served as an officer and religious education teacher at his church in Nevada; and was both a Boy Scout and Cub Scout leader while stationed there. He and his wife Debra now reside in Rolling Meadows with their five children. Bohac encourages young people to set high goals and, above all, to believe in themselves. "When choosing a career, find something you are passionate about and will enjoy doing for the rest of your life," he urges. |

Timothy Nolan graduated from Rolling Meadows High School in 1982. In high school, Tim was very active in sports, playing golf and basketball and was a member of the baseball team all four years. Tim went on to play baseball at Elgin Community College, at Cumberland University in Tennessee where he earned two all-conference awards, and then played professionally in Connecticut. Since college, Tim has received his ACEP Coaching Certification and an Association of Professional Baseball Instructors Certification. He has been teaching baseball and softball to coaches and players from little league to the major leagues for more than 13 years. Currently, Tim is the President/Owner and CEO of TIPM Inc. as well as the Procut Training Center, a private baseball academy. Tim has six US patents for his inventions and produces and sells his products, travels the country speaking and teaching baseball skills and coaches at his baseball academy. Because of one of his inventions, Tim is a lifetime member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Tim is active in his community and spends his time volunteer coaching and, working on fundraising and sponsoring teams. Tim lives on a farm with his wife Renee and 2 children. He loves to spend time with his family playing and riding horses. Tim says, "My life is not a job, I love what I do and would not change it for anything." |
