Winter Play Do you want to be an actor? Do you long for the spotlight? There are over 30 roles available in our winter play, Stage Door! Come to an informational meeting and audition tips this Tuesday after school for a short meeting! No experience necessary. Receive the audition material ahead of time. Tuesday, November 24, 3-3:30 pm A121. If you have any questions, see Mr. McCrory in A121.

Early Dismissal: On Wednesday, November 25th, we have early dismissal at 1:45 pm. There will be no Activity Buses. We will have a combined Activity/Athletic Bus at 5:00 pm.

The District 214 College Counselors will be presenting an Athletic Night on Wednesday, November 18, which will be held in the theatre of the Forest View Educational Center, located at 2121 South Goebbert Road, in Arlington Heights beginning at 7 pm. Anyone interested in playing division level sports should attend to learn useful information about participation in NCAA sports. The presenter for the program will be Maureen A. Harty, Assistant Athletic Director of Compliance at Northwestern University. Parents and coaches are encouraged to attend, too.

Science Olympiad: Attention There will be a meeting this Thursday for all interested students in being a part of Science Olympiad. Our meeting will begin @ 8 am in C219. See Mr. Senteno or Ms. Mahler if you have questions.

CURE: Auditions for the 2010 CURE Show are December 8th from 306 in the Orchestra Room. Sign up for an audition time in A213.

TDP/COLLEGE VISIT: University Wisconsin, Madison Trip. Friday, November 20th 6:30 am to 2:45 pm. Get permission slips form Mrs. Doherty Room B213. The permission slips with $10 due back by Wednesday, November 18th. Limited number and the trip is filling up fast.

Career Trek: Interested in a career asa Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist or Dietician? Sign up for a career trek to Alexian Rehabilitation Hospital on Dec 9. See Mrs. Hibsch in C110 for additional info! Space is limited.

ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) District 214 is offering the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery), on Nov. 19th at Forest View Educational Center. This test is used to help students with career exploration and direction. If you are interested in taking the test or just want some information please come to the Assessment Center/B222.

Info Processing Proficiency Test: Information Processing Proficiency Testing is here. The first of 2 opportunities to take the Information Processing test is scheduled for December 14th during seminar. the test format has changed so if you are interested in taking the test please come to the Assessment Center to sign up and get study materials.

College Visits:

Stop by the CCR in advance for a pass to any of these visits.

SPORTS

MEDICAL FORMS: All Sophomore, Junior, Senior Boys and Girls. If you were not in a fall sport and you plan on going out for any sport the rest of the school year, remember you need an updated physical before you can begin practice. Physical forms are available in the athletic office. Make sure you can start your sport on time by having all the forms turned in the week
