Interested in Leadership?
Would you like to work with the planning of activities such as homecoming, spring fling, food drive, or other community projects? Then pick up your leadership packet from your class sponsor and run for an officer position in Student Council. Application are available from Ms. Anderson, Mr. Carlino, or Mr. Aslinger. Are you interested in dance?
Think that you've got skills in the art of hip-hop and b-boy?
Then try out for Hypno May 14th, our dance clinic day, and May 15th in the south cafe at 3:15pm. You don't need to have prior dance experience and everyone is welcome. Bring some sweats and we will see you there!
LIVESTRONG Day
to support cancer research is on Tuesday, May 13. Please wear yellow on that day to show your support. "Chains of Love" will be sold for $1 each during A and B lunches on Monday and Tuesday. Links are $1 each with all money going to cancer research. Buy a link, or 2 or 3 to help create a giant chain to show our support for all those affected by cancer.
Juniors
Lifetouch, the official yearbook photography company, will be at Rolling Meadows on Mon., May 12th during lunches to make your senior portrait appointment for this summer.
You will receive a discount if you stop by and set up an appointment on this day!
Seniors
Auditions are open once again for any senior interested in offering a musical selection at this year's graduation ceremony. The selection can be two to three minutes long. If interested in auditioning, please see Mrs. Henderson in her office, B214. The audition will be next Thursday, May 15th during Seminar.
iBooks
The last day to checkout iBooks from B225 (Tech Services) for seniors, who have completed a loan agreement form is Friday, May 16.
ART CLUB
The Art Club is meeting Tuesday, April 29th from 3:00-4:00 in room E116. All are welcome. Please see Mrs. Gardner for details.
FUTURE EDUCATORS OF AMERICA
There will be a meeting on Tuesday, April 29 right after announcements in the South Cafeteria. If you are thinking of running for an office in FEA, you should attend this meeting. All Pen Pals MUST attend this meeting. See Mrs. Pribyl in C100 if you have questions.
To all current teacher interns
--stop what you're doing and listen! The teacher internship program requires the completion of a final exam in order to pass the class. You and your parents have signed an agreement about this requirement. One way to get credit for the final exam is to attend a presentation in the Multi-Media room on Wednesday, May 21st, right after seminar announcements. For more details, stop by Room C110 to pick up a copy of your final exam options.
