CCR - Student Athlete
Traditionally students have been told not to register with the NCAA until September of their senior year, when sixth semester grades are locked. Students are now encouraged to register in November of their junior year if they would like to begin their college athletic contacts. Students must still send a copy of their sixth semester grades to the NCAA Clearinghouse as soon as they are available prior to the senior year.
On Monday, November 12, 2012, the D214 College Counselors hosted their annual Athletic Night at the Forest View Educational Center (2121 So. Goebbert Rd., Arlington Heights). The presentation was conducted by Maureen A. Harty, Assistant Athletic Director-Compliance at Northwestern University. To download a copy of the handout provided by Ms. Harty and/or a copy of the Student Athelte Booklet, both of which were provided at the program, click on the links below.
