Rolling Meadows High School is a public four-year high school that opened in 1971, and serves the villages of Arlington Heights, Mt. Prospect, and Rolling Meadows. Rolling Meadows is one of six schools in Township High School District 214, including Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove, John Hersey, Prospect, and Wheeling High Schools. Rolling Meadows is proud to be a member of District 214. Our collective mission and vision include the offering of a comprehensive curriculum to support student learning and the ability to demonstrate the academic and life skills of analytic capabilities, ethical judgment and decision-making, problem solving, career and life planning, technological literacy, as well as concern, understanding, and respect in our culturally diverse schools.
Rolling Meadows promotes high quality academic and co-curricular programs to support student growth and school engagement. There are18 AP courses to choose from, four World Languages - including Mandarin, Project Lead the Way courses, and a strong core curriculum to help students build the necessary skill sets to be successful in their future endeavors. Over 90% of students enroll in post-secondary educational courses at a technical school, junior college, or four year university.
There are over ninety co-curricular sports and activities offered at the school. We encourage all students to get involved in at least one school sponsored activity to enrich their high school experience. The choices range from the award winning journalism program and newspaper The PACER, to the Latino Outreach program ESTAMPIDA, to the 2011 World Champion Wildstang FIRST Robotics Team.
Rolling Meadows is a high school where the students and staff are committed to excellence. Please view the web site to learn more about the academic programs, dedicated staff, and co-curricular opportunities at Rolling Meadows High School.
