Help Desk Mission:

The mission or purpose of this help desk is to improve RMHS students' reading comphrehension scores on the ACT as well as other national standardized exams. The majority of our staff has not been trained in how to develop stronger reading skills in our students, nor is there a bank of reading strategies or lesson plans for them to use as a resource. With an emphasis on improving reading scores across the curriculum, teachers and staff at RMHS need a resource like an Online Reading Help Desk to increase staff interest, comfort, and success dealing with reading issues.
