ACT Practice Exam for Juniors February 7, 2013
RMHS is administering an unofficial practice ACT exam to all juniors on Thursday, February 7, 2013, during blocks 5, 6, and 7. There is NO COST to take this practice ACT. This test will give juniors valuable experience taking an ACT exam prior to the Prairie State Achievement Exam (PSAE) on April 23 & 24, 2013. The results of the practice ACT will allow students to pinpoint areas that need improvement. Exam results will be distributed and discussed in their classes.
IMPORTANT Information for ACT Practice Day:
- All juniors should report directly to the gym on Thursday, February 7, 2013, by 8:25 AM unless specifically directed otherwise
- Bring #2 wood pencils. NO MECHANICAL PENCILS as they do not scan properly and are not allowed per ACT regulations
- Bring a permitted calculator
- NO CELL Phones are allowed during any ACT testing. This is good practice for juniors to get in the habit of turning off or not bringing a cell phone to ACT testing. ACT is VERY strict about this and use of a cell phone during ACT at ANY time (even during break) or any sound from a cell phone is grounds for immediate dismissal and the test will not be scored.
- The practice ACT exam will be administered during blocks 5, 6 and 7
- Students will be dismissed to lunch immediately following the practice ACT
- All juniors must report to their 8th block class as usual
- We strongly recommend that ALL juniors set up a free ACT web account prior to taking the PSAE in April. Click here to review our ACT Dos & Don'ts and ACT Online Account Set-up Information.
