*NEW*Financial Assistance: 

Students who qualify for free and reduced lunch can register at home and will have reduced fees during the AP registration process. Students who qualify for fee waiver should come the Assessment Center (B225) to discuss if fee reductions are available.

College Board Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) Accommodations:

Contact your student’s case manager before February 1, 2019 for information.  Students with documented disabilities (IEP or 504 plans) may be eligible for accommodations on AP Exams.  In order to use accommodations on AP Exams, the student must request and be approved by College Board Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD).

Parent Permission for Testing and Transportation:

The parent/guardian acceptance on the Online Registration and Paper Registration will be considered permission for their student to take the Advanced Placement Test(s) and acknowledges that the student will provide their own transportation to the testing locations not at Rolling Meadows High School. The school does not provide transportation. Specific directions and parking information will be provided a week before the testing begins.

Refund Policy:

The AP Program charges for exams ordered but not used.  Students must notify the Assessment Center by April 25th if they are requesting a refund.  After this deadline, no refunds will be issued.  All refunds are processed in late June.

Test Day General Information


On the day of the exam, students will be excused for the entire day; however, students may return to class after signing in at the Attendance Office.  


Morning testers need to arrive at 8:00am.    Afternoon testers need to arrive at 12:00pm.

Students will NOT be permitted to leave a test early for any reason (including work, athletics or activities). It is the responsibility of the student to notify coaches, sponsors, or supervisors of the testing schedule.

Cell phone and electronic Device Policy:

You must comply with College Board rules regarding not bringing any communication devices into the testing room, i.e. cell phones, PDAs, Blackberries, etc. during AP exams.
