Go to the website to see how from natural environmental issues, through nature and wildlife conservancy, to the essential humanitarian emergency work, Magnus Charitable Trust is involved locally, nationally and internationally; be a resident of Chgo, IL or its Metro-Plex area, residing in Cook, Lake, Will or DuPage Counties; H.S. grad and diploma must be received by June 2019; GPA 2.0/4.0; official copy of transcript; provide Family Income Information: 2018 tax return; Medium Annual household income of $45,000.00 per yr Single Parent Household; $60,000.00 per yr for Dual Parent Household; 2 signed Letters of Recommendations from School Officials; Counselors or Teachers; essay; those applying to performing arts schools: in addition to your essay, include a short video showcasing your talents in the specific area you studying in; DVD, CD or flash drive. 1/14/19 2019 Vincent J. Vitorre Memorial Scholarship $5,000
  • US Citizen between the ages of 17 and 30
  • Reside in the Chicago metropolitan area (Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry or Will county)
  • Applicants must be a cancer patient, cancer survivor or has an immediate family member that is a cancer patient, cancer survivor or has passed away due to cancer. “Immediate Family” is defined as Mother, Father, Brother or Sister.
  • Applicants must plan to enroll as a full-time student (minimum 12 semester hours) in pursuit of a certificate or undergraduate degree at an accredited 2 or 4 year College/University for the 2019-2020 academic year.  Special consideration will be given to those pursuing a journalism degree.
  • US Citizen between the ages of 17 and 30

2/7/19 Rotary District 6440 Vocational Scholarship $1,500

Enroll full-time in 2-yr program pursuing an Associates Degree or trade certificate preparing for a vocational or technical career attainable with less than a 4-yr. degree.  Grants will be limited to an Associates Degree or equivalent certification program.  3 Scholarships available; each scholarship program has specific criteria for each scholarship; Resident of Dist. 214 or communities adjoining Arlington Heights; will attend 2-yr or 4-yr college or vocational/technical school; "C" GPA or better. Graduating senior who has been accepted to an accredited technical school, junior college or vocational school; express a strong desire to continue his/her education; currently enrolled in RMHS or alternative school program with senior status; hold at least a 2.0 GPA average; demonstrate attitudes of hard work, commitment to task, and compassion for others.
